How the GentleMax Pro facial works

The GentleMax Pro passes through the surface of the skin with little absorption by melanin and reaches the dermis, where it is taken up by blood vessels and water. Delivered at low energy and swept across the face in repeated passes, it gently heats the dermis instead of injuring it.

That controlled warmth is the point. It encourages collagen remodelling over a course of sessions, calms small visible vessels and redness, and leaves the skin looking more even. Because the surface is untouched, you can return to your day straight afterwards.

Who it suits

Redness and flushing. Diffuse redness and fine vessels on the cheeks and nose often respond well to a course.

Dull tone and texture. Skin that looks tired, rough or uneven, without a single specific problem to target.

Visible pores. Repeated dermal heating can make pores look finer over time.

Maintenance. Between XERF or Ultherapy treatments, as a low-commitment way to keep the skin in good condition.

Because the GentleMax Pro facial is less absorbed by melanin, it is well suited to Asian and darker skin types when the settings are right.

What to expect

We start with a consultation and a VISIA skin analysis so there is a baseline to compare against. The treatment takes around 20 to 30 minutes. It feels like warmth building under the skin, with an occasional snap. There is no numbing cream, and most people see mild flushing for an hour or so.

Results build over a course rather than appearing after a single visit. A typical plan is a series of sessions spaced a few weeks apart, followed by occasional maintenance.
